How to keep your hams fresh?
Keep it refrigerated: If you do not intend to serve the ham right away, keep the ham refrigerated. The whole leg ham is at its best for 3 to 5 days, please store in the chiller. Sliced ham is at its best for 1 to 2 days, please store in the chiller. Change of color may occur due to oxidation.
PACK & SEAL: It is best to vacuum pack or pack the sliced ham in Ziplock bags to extend its freshness and preserve its moisture. Store in the chiller. If you wish to keep it longer, you may store both the whole legs and vacuum packed ham slices in the freezer.
HEATING INSTRUCTIONS: While some families prefer to have the ham cold or at room temp, here are some heating instructions in case you wish to serve it warm: Heat oven 250ºF to 300ºF. Wrap ham in foil and place fat-side-up in a shallow pan. Heat for 45 minutes. Do not over-heat; ham is already fully cooked. *Cooking time and temperature may vary depending on size or quantity of ham.
SERVING INSTRUCTIONS: Serve The Plaza Premium Baked Ham as a main meal piece-de-resistance, in salads or omelets; and on sandwiches. It can be topped with our signature sauces: Premium Glaze, Wasabe Mayo, Sweet Mustard or Gutsy Garlic. Enjoy The Plaza Premium Baked Ham. #HamAMerryChristmas!
